Hispanic Heritage Month 2017

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15 by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. In Washington County and across Oregon, the cultural, educational and political influences of Hispanics can be seen and appreciated in all aspects of our lives.

This proclamation dedicates September 15th – October 15th, 2017 as Hispanic Heritage Month in Washington County, and celebrates the histories, cultures and contributions of Hispanics in our community.
