The CPO 1 Steering Committee is made up of volunteers who live in and/or own a business or property in the Bonny Slope, Cedar Hills or Cedar Mill areas. They are elected by their fellow community members (see elections below) to stay on top of the issues, deliver informative community meetings and events, and represent their communities at public hearings, neighborhood meetings, public events, etc.

Leadership in Action

Being involved in your local CPO on a leadership level offers many opportunities!

  • Get the personal satisfaction of helping to improve your community.
  • Make connections and build relationships with community members and leaders.
  • Find out first hand about all of the issues affecting the members of the Bonny Slope, Cedar Hills and Cedar Mill communities.

Volunteer Parking Passes
When CPO and CCI leaders attend meetings and events at Washington County facilities within the City of Hillsboro Washington County campus, much of the available parking is time limited to two-hour parking spots. If you are attending an event that does last more than two hours, please refer to the CPO Volunteer Parking Permit Procedures, the How to Use Your Parking Permit and the Campus Map for the procedure regarding when a limited-duration parking permit can be issued to volunteers.
