Restricted Property
Below is a list of “restricted items” that residents are not allowed to have in their personal property during their stay at the Community Corrections Center:
- Dangerous items such as knives, sharp tools, replaceable straight edged razors, anything that can be interpreted or used as a weapon;
- Incense or air deodorizers of any kind;
- Candles;
- Drug paraphernalia, including roach clips, rolling papers, etc.;
- Mobile and/or cell phones and pagers (without counselor approval);
- Bleach;
- Musical instruments;
- Food, beverages, gum, or candy;
- Loose tobacco, cigars, pipes, chew, snuff, and rolling papers;
- “Boom Boxes” (two speaker radios);
- Tattoo equipment;
- "Stingers" to warm beverages;
- Cameras;
- Anything that is disallowed due to court, sentencing authority, or other lawful reasons
- Anything that has been altered in any way, which includes, but not limited to cutting, removal from a magazine, posted or left out for viewing;
- Gambling devices or proceeds;
- Unauthorized medication;
- Gang related materials;
- Inflammatory material that advocates the supremacy or hatred of a racial, religious, national or other group;
- Fingernail polish;
- DVD/Video cassette/TV’s/Ipods/PSP’s/internet connecting devices;
- School or work related electronic devices, i.e. palm pilots, lap tops, etc., are only allowed on a case by case basis.
