Applying For CDBG Funds

Washington County’s Office of Community Development is preparing for the next Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding cycle beginning on July 1, 2010.

Project proposals for the 2010-2011 funding cycle are due before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2009. No late proposals or postage dates of October 9th will be accepted. Proposals must be sent or delivered to:

A proposal workshop is being offered on Wednesday, August 19th to assist potential applicants in submitting proposals. For information on the workshops, call 503-846-8814.

Competitive project categories are:

  • Public Facilities
  • Infrastructure Improvements
  • Public Services

There are three different versions of the project proposals. The instructions are included for each version. Click on the version below that corresponds to your type of project. It is very important that you choose the correct project proposal. Proposals will be rejected if not submitted on the correct version.

One original and one copy of the proposal must be submitted to the Office of Community Development. No fax or electronic submittals will be accepted.

CDBG Project Proposal forms for 2010-2011 will be available as of August 20th.
