Ramble Glen
Ramble Glen

The Ramble Glen project located in Aloha was sponsored by Willamette West Habitat for Humanity (WWHfH).  WWHfH brings together community volunteers, donated materials and services with homebuyer partner families (30 - 50% MFI) to construct decent, simple affordable homes.  Each partner family contributes at least 500 hours of sweat equity and participates in an extensive training program to prepare for homeownership.  This project was initiated with a HOME 2010-11 allocation of $500,000 that funded acquisition and development costs.  Construction was completed in January of 2012, with all eight single-family homes sold to eligible homebuyers by June 2012

Juniper Gardens
Juniper Gardens
The Juniper Gardens Apartments project involved the acquisition of 6.5 acres of vacant land and subsequent new construction activities of a twenty-four (24) unit rental project for migrant farmworker households.  Juniper Gardens was a USDA Rural Development (RD) project in conjunction with a HOME funding award of 1.0 million.  The sponsor intends to utilize USDA RD Section 514/516 development funds and rental assistance/ subsidies that would ensure farmworker families pay no more than 30% of their income toward rent.
