Annual Performance Report
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND COMMENT PERIOD ON WASHINGTON COUNTY’S CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER) FOR PROGRAM YEAR 2011/2012
Washington County and the City of Beaverton have prepared their 2011 CAPER report as required by federal regulations. The report details project accomplishments as well as expenditures throughout the period July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012 for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, the Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), and the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program. The purpose of the report is to measure to what extent the jurisdictions are meeting priority needs, goals and strategies as outlined in the 2010-2015 Consolidated Plan.
The report is presented in two volumes. Volume One contains the narrative describing the CDBG, ESG, and HOME activities according to HUD’s prescribed format. Volume Two contains reports generated from HUD’s Integrated Disbursement and Information System.
The report is due to HUD on September 28th. A 15-day public comment period on the report begins on Wednesday, September 5th and runs through 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 20th. A public hearing on September 20th will be held to receive comments on the CAPER. The hearing will also be an opportunity to accept public comment on housing and community development needs in the County. The hearing will take place in the Washington County Public Services Building, 155 North First Avenue, Hillsboro, located in the Cafeteria. The public hearing starts at 7:00 p.m.
