Forest Grove Man Sentenced For Gang Violence

On January 20, 2010 , Eloy Salinas Jr., then 24, broke out windows of a residence in Forest Grove and then fired shots at homeowners who gave chase in their vehicle.  Forest Grove police believe the incident was part of a back-and-forth retaliation between rival gangs.

In January, 2011, Salinas was sentenced to nearly 6 years in prison for 2nd degree assault, a Measure 11 crime.
