Culturally Specific Services

Washington County boasts a diverse population, and it is becoming more diverse as time moves on.  Our Latino population has seen the largest increase in numbers in Washington County - 6% just last year.  Latinos comprise just under 14% of the county’s total population, with an estimated number of over 69,000 residents. 

At ChangePoint, inc., treatment is provided in a culturally appropriate manner.  Since the beginning of the company in 1983, they have provided substance abuse treatment to the Hispanic community. As one of the largest treatment programs of its kind, they offer services to Spanish-speaking clients at all their ChangePoint locations in the Tri-county area.   In Washington County, ChangePoint offers Level 1 and Level 2 outpatient services.  A violence intervention program is also available, as are parenting programs
