Funding for the Family Caregiver Support Program

Title IIIE of the federal Older Americans Act (OAA) funds the Family Caregiver Support Program.  Nearly 80% of the care to adults is given in the home by an unpaid family caregiver.  An estimated 65 million Americans provide unpaid care to seniors and people with disabilities.  Family Caregiver Support services are dedicated to those who provide the care.
