EMS Advisory Council

The purpose of the EMS Advisory Council is to review, advise and make policy and operational/technical recommendations related to improving the delivery of Emergency Medical Services in Washington County, to the County EMS Office (WCEO) and the Board of County Commissioners (Board).

The 13-member council is comprised of:

  • Emergency Ambulance Services Franchise Holder
  • 911 Public Safety Access Point (PSAP)
  • Washington County EMS Medical Director
  • Hospital Emergency Department (ED) Physician
  • Municipal Representative
  • 2 Public/Consumer Representatives
  • 2 Field Providers
  • 3 Fire Service Agency Representatives
  • EMS Program Supervisor
