Regulations & Reference Documents
The Washington County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Office is responsible for the regulation of ambulance and wheelchair car services in Washington County. This authority is granted in Oregon Revised Statute 682, which authorizes counties to regulate ambulance services within their boundaries.
Under this authority Washington County has adopted its own EMS Ordinance Chapter 8.32, EMS Administrative Rules, Ambulance Service Area (ASA) Plan, and Agreement for Emergency Ambulance Services Franchise Agreement. These and other applicable county ordinances and rules may be reviewed by accessing Regulations on this website.
