Transition Age Youth

Washington County recognizes that the period between ages 16 and 24 can present unique challenges.  The stress of school, employment and developing independence can be significantly increased if one is experiencing a mental illness.  Washington County currently offers two specialized  programs for this age group:

Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA)

Transition Age Youth Intensive Services (TAYIS)

These programs offer intensive treatment designed to build life skills and meet developmental goals of establishing independent housing, achieving educational milestones and securing employment.  This age group may also be served in rehabilitation or outpatient service programs.
