What is Nurse-Family Partnership?
Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is a free, voluntary program that provides first-time moms with a visiting nurse until the baby is two years old. Each new mom is partnered with an experienced community health nurse early in her pregnancy and receives ongoing nurse home visits. It is a life-transforming partnership for the mom and her child. Nurse-Family Partnership helps families — and the community that they live in — become stronger.
