Washington County Public Health and Oregon State University’s collaborative internship program is designed to provide applied learning experiences for college students interested in pursuing careers in the fields of family, community, or public health.
Internship opportunities may include, but are not limited to, work in the following areas:
- Chronic disease prevention
- Tobacco prevention
- Food and nutrition
- Family planning
- HIV/STD prevention
- Environmental health
- Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
- Health education and outreach
- Health impact assessments
- Coalition-building and partnership development
