Recycling

Recycling is part of standard residential and commercial collection service* and is included in monthly billing rates. Recycling collection service is provided by the same company that picks up your garbage. The 14 private garbage and recycling collection companies that have been granted service certificates by the Board of Commissioners to pick up garbage, also pick up recycling and yard debris as part of the certificate.

Standards for recycling collection are established by the State and County. For residents living inside a city boundary, check with your City government for collection rates and recycling requirements.
