Recycling Assistance Program for Property Managers
Recycling made easy!
1. For most property managers in Washington County, recycling collection is part of your regular service and included in your monthly bill.
2. Thanks to a mixed recycling approach, or commingling, you can recycle without sorting each type of material. Glass still needs to be kept separate, however.
3. The Washington County Property Manager Assistance Program offers free assistance and educational materials for you and your residents. We are here to make recycling easy and rewarding. Let us help your apartment, condo or townhome community achieve its waste reduction and recycling goals. Our free services include:
- On-site analysis of your garbage and recycling system and recommendations in setting up or enhancing your recycling program such as the "5 Steps to a Great Recycling System"
- Free educational materials such as a property manager guide, signs for enclosures, stickers for containers, handouts for residents, kits to reduce unwanted mail and recycling boxes for office desks or indoor common areas
- Education pieces and information to put in community newsletters
- Presentations on recycling or waste reduction at green team meetings or general community meetings
- Displays for your lobby or community areas.
