Submit a complaint

Before filing a complaint, please confirm the property or issue in question is within the unincorporated area of Washington County. Type the address, taxlot or R-number into the blank field using the County's maps program to find out.

Rules and standards:

  • Garbage and recycling collection service standards are outlined in the Washington County Solid Waste & Recycling Administrative Rules
  • Garbage accumulation, weed overgrowth and other nuisance issues are outlined in the Washington County Nuisance Code, Chapter 8.20. To navigate there, click on "Title 8 - HEALTH AND SAFETY" on the left navigation bar, then click on "Chapter 8.20 - NUISANCES."
