The Home Detention Juvenile Counselors provide daily monitoring, supervision and crisis intervention for youth and their families involved in this service. Youth involved are awaiting court hearings and are provided structured guidelines to follow in order to remain in their homes and community. The Washington County Juvenile Department believes in providing the highest level of Supervision for youth who are placed in the community. One such method for ensuring accountability and public safety is accomplished through the use of House Arrest, Home Detention and Electronic Monitoring (HA, HD & EM). This program provides 24 hour monitoring and supervision of youth assigned to the program.
