Opportunities to Get Involved 


Grand Opening Celebration: Grand Opening Celebration for David Hill Road Extension and Roundabout project, 10 a.m.-noon Friday, Aug. 4, at the location. A brief program will be followed by a chance to Bike Hike Roll Stroll the new roadway in celebration of the ADA Compliant bicycle-pedestrian facility. There will be healthy snacks, water bottles and bags of traffic-safety materials for children following the walk. Media release


Office Hours: The Aloha Tomorrow project team will be hosting "Office Hours" to get input on the Town Center focus area at 185th and TV Highway. Staff will be available to share land use and transportation concepts, answer questions and gather feedback. Office hours will be at the following three times and locations:

  • 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, Aloha Grange, 3425 SW 185th Ave.
  • 1-3 p.m. Thursday, July 20, Sabor Salvadoreno, 3460 SW 185th Ave., Ste. A
  • 10 a.m.-noon Friday, July 21, Aloha Sewing & Vacuuming, 18335 SW TV Hwy


Open House: Springville Road (185th to 178th avenues) project Meet the Contractor, 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, Portland Community College Rock Creek Campus, Building 9, Section C, 17705 NW Springville Road. Meet project contractor Wildish Construction Co. County and Wildish's staff will be there to answer questions and provide information regarding construction schedules, traffic and staging. Online Open House: Oregon Public Transportation Plan online open house through Aug. 31. The public is invited to review and comment on draft policies and strategies in the new transportation plan.
