Final Approval

Following the Preliminary Decision from the County there is a chance there are going to be conditions of approval.  For instance, there might be a requirement to widen a road, provide a survey, update a site plan, or other such projects.  There may also be requirements to work with other agencies such as the Fire Marshall, Clean Water Services, a city, or others.

In order to make sure that these projects are completed we require applicants to file for Final Approval.  Final Approval Applications are Type I applications which provides us with proof that all the Conditions of Approval have been completed.

Final Approval Applications are required for all Type II and Type III applications within the Urban Area.  Final Approvals for applications within the Rural Area are considered on a case by case basis.  Final Approval is also required for all Partitions and Subdivisions regardless of the location.
