Land Use Application Process

The Current Planning Land Use Process is the process applicants will go through when requesting either a change to a use of a property, such as changing a home to a home business, or when adding a new use to an existing property, such as constructing a new detached garage.  Depending on the Procedure Type for the Land Use Process can be broken into as many as 9 different categories.  These categories are:

  1. Pre-Application Conference
  2. Neighborhood Meeting
  3. Submit Application
  4. Public Notice
  5. Staff Report
  6. Decision/Public Hearing
  7. Appeal
  8. Final Approval
  9. Apply for Permits
