Utility Permits
Utility Permits are required when there is required utility work, either installation or repair that needs to take place within the public right-of-way. Work within the right-of-way can range from the installation of new utilities, repair of old utilities, connecting of an existing utility to a new structure (ex. extending a sewer line to a new home), etc.
Utility Permits are administered through the Operations Division. Applicants who need a utility permit are required by the Operations Division to submit for a Right-of-Way Permit. This submittal is required as the Utility Permit is included with the Right-of-Way Permit. Below are links provided to the Right-of-Way Permit page and to the Operations Division pages.
