Gap Prioritization

Over the last year, the county has updated the sidewalk and bike lane inventories in Washington County, developed criteria for prioritizing filling gaps with both systems, and developed an initial list of high priority system gaps.

 

Based on this work, the county has developed two lists – the 45 highest-scoring bicycle system gaps and the 45 highest-scoring pedestrian system gaps. These gaps can be viewed in two different formats – geographically by clicking on the map to the right, or in alphabetical lists - one for the bike network, and one for the sidewalk network.

Review the final list of prioritized bicycle and pedestrian needs (2/21/2013) 

The list of the top 30 prioritized bicycle and pedestrian needs is now available. The final list was selected in part based on the nearly 200 survey responses received between November 27 and December 31, 2012. The final list of prioritized needs will serve as a tool that will help inform future project development when funding becomes available.
