Washington County's Neighborhood Streets Program is about livability in neighborhoods. It is a way for neighbors to address quality of life issues such as speeding, cut-through traffic, and parking infiltration.
Washington County recognizes that we can not simply build ourselves out of congestion. The County desires to maximize the efficiencies of our existing infrastructure by implementing a framework of policies, procedures and strategies for integrating the region's existing resources with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technology.
Washington County annually collects traffic data on many of its roadways to support planning and engineering activities. Traffic Volume Tables are also available to the public.
