Aloha Tomorrow Open House April 18
For Immediate Release: Tuesday, April 04, 2017
The family-friendly event is an opportunity for members of the Aloha community to review concepts developed through public input. No formal presentation is planned. Staff will be available to answer questions and will solicit feedback on specific land use and transportation improvements in the Aloha Tomorrow Study area.
Aloha community members have helped Washington County project staff identify land use and transportation needs in Aloha including:
- Improvements to the commercial area at 185th Avenue and TV Highway,
- Transit-related improvements along TV Highway, and
- The desire to make Alexander Street a welcoming place for people walking and biking.
More information is available at www.alohatomorrow.com.
Washington County is committed to planning and protecting the uses of the land and to building and maintaining a great transportation system, balancing care for the natural environment, economic development, safety and community livability.
