A 3-ton weight limit on the 227th Avenue Bridge over Rock Creek, north of Quatama Road, went into effect on Sept. 20 after an inspection report detected deteriorated timber pilings.

The public is invited to comment on the top URMD Safety Improvement candidates being considered for funding in 2017-18. Comments submitted by Nov. 11 will be reviewed by the selection committee.
Changes proposed to County winery regulations - Release date: 09/20/2016
The proposed updates to Ordinance 815 represent the first significant update to the County’s winery standards since 1990. The updates would reflect changes in state provisions and minor “formatting amendments” to wineries in the Exclusive Farm Use (EFU) and Agricultural & Forestry 80-acre minimum (AF-20) land use districts.

Nighttime traffic delays on Cornelius Pass Road and intersections, between Cornell Road and U.S. 26, can be expected Sept. 20-23 and Sept. 26-Oct. 7 for storm sewer and paving work.
Washington County adopts conditional vehicle registration fee - Release date: 09/20/2016
An ordinance establishing a conditional $30 annual vehicle registration fee (VRF) to offset some of the local maintenance funding shortfall and to improve transportation safety was adopted during tonight’s [Sept. 20] Washington County Board of Commissioners meeting.
