An ordinance that includes regulations addressing commercial recreational marijuana activity was adopted by the Washington County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday (Oct. 25).
Meek Road to close for construction of a roundabout - Release date: 10/24/2016
Meek Road will be closed at Jackson School Road from Nov. 3 through January for the construction of a roundabout at Jackson School, Scotch Church and Meek roads.

Nighttime repair planned for railroad crossing on Tualatin-Sherwood Road at Boones Ferry Road - Release date: 09/30/2016
Roads will remain open during repair of the railroad crossing, but traffic on Tualatin-Sherwood Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Expect delays or use alternate routes during this overnight work.
Weight limit placed on 227th Avenue bridge over Rock Creek - Release date: 09/27/2016
Traffic across the 227th Avenue Bridge over Rock Creek, north of Quatama Road, is now restricted to one lane and a 13-ton weight limit is in effect.

Changes proposed to County winery regulations - Release date: 09/20/2016
The proposed updates to Ordinance 815 represent the first significant update to the County’s winery standards since 1990. The updates would reflect changes in state provisions and minor “formatting amendments” to wineries in the Exclusive Farm Use (EFU) and Agricultural & Forestry 80-acre minimum (AF-20) land use districts.
