Second weekend closure, originally scheduled for September 6 through September 9, is no longer necessary and has been canceled.
Road maintenance still the focus of public opinion - Release date: 08/06/2013
The findings of two recent public opinion studies on transportation priorities conclude that road maintenance receives the highest public rating and that a vehicle registration fee can be used to get the work done soon and avoid higher maintenance costs in the future.

The road will be temporarily closed to all traffic between Oats Terrace and Kaiser Road through August 27.

Nighttime road striping starts Wednesday, July 10. Motorists are advised to not drive on wet paint.
Road Maintenance Program for 2013-2014 approved by Board - Release date: 06/25/2013
The Board approved the 2013-2014 Road Maintenance Program, authorizing preventive activities that preserve the public's investment in the county's transportation infrastructure.
Summer is Road Paving Season - Release date: 06/14/2013
Most paving work on major roads will be done at night, expect delays.
New Proposals for Minor Betterments due July 15 - Release date: 06/06/2013
Minor Betterment proposals received by the July 15 deadline will be considered for construction in 2014-2015.

Four Month Closure of Old Highway 47 begins June 17 - Release date: 05/13/2013
The road will be closed to motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians at the bridge over Scoggins Creek until October 29.

A signed detour route will be in place; however, drivers should expect significant delays and are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes.
