Night-time road work on Tualatin-Sherwood Rd and Hwy 99W

Night-time road work will begin next week at several intersections along Roy Rogers Road, Tualatin-Sherwood Road, and Hwy 99W in Sherwood. Night work will be performed between 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. weekdays starting Tuesday, May 32572 ITS Map, 1. The work is expected to be finished by June 25.

The affected intersections are:

  • Roy Rogers Road at Borchers Drive
  • Roy Rogers/Tualatin-Sherwood roads at Hwy 99W
  • Tualatin-Sherwood Road at Langer Farms Parkway
  • Hwy 99W at Langer Farms Parkway
  • Hwy 99W at Sherwood Boulevard/Edy Road
  • Hwy 99W at Meinecke Parkway
  • Hwy 99W at Sunset Boulevard/Elwert Road

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes or anticipate delays during the overnight work hours.

This work is part of a project that will interconnect traffic signals on Tualatin-Sherwood Road from Interstate 5 to Hwy 99W with Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) equipment to provide enhanced traffic flow. The $1.9 million project is funded by a combination of federal funds managed by Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Washington County's Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP).
