Board approves seven URMD Pedestrian and Biking Improvement Projects

Click here to enlargeSeven pedestrian and biking improvement projects were recommended for funding in FY 18-19 and FY 19-20 by Washington County Board of Commissioners during its Nov. 21 meeting.

The projects, totaling $6.6 million, are funded through the Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD) and will improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety. Projects approved for funding are as follows:

The Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee selected the projects unanimously following a public comment period.
