Those who live, work and play in Washington County are asked to join the conversation about the County's future during the Washington County Transportation Futures Study Online Open House.

Washington County communities are getting more vibrant and diverse with growing populations. These trends impact how people get around. The Transportation Futures Study will evaluate long-term transportation strategies and investments needed to sustain economic health and quality of life in the coming decades.

The public is encouraged to join the conversation by participating in the study's online open house. Input will be sought on the following:

  • How will people get around Washington County in 40 to 50 years?
  • What transportation ideas might improve our economy and livability for generations to come?

Public comment will be used to refine these transportation strategies for further evaluation.  The evaluation will highlight trade-offs and help County residents, businesses, and elected officials find areas of agreement and set transportation priorities.

Comments will be accepted through Feb. 19. To participate, visit the Washington County Transportation Futures Study Online Open House.

Washington County is committed to planning, building and maintaining a great transportation system, ensuring the safety of all roadway users, and operating the County roadway system in a cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner.
