More than 50 community members joined Commissioner Dick Schouten for a discussion of the Aloha-Reedville Study and Livable Community Plan Outcomes on March 20.
This community event marked the final outreach for the planning phase of this three year process. The next phase will include continuing to address ordinance changes to enact several of the recommendations, seek funding to implement roadway, safety, connectivity, and housing actions, and support community efforts directed at improving the livability of the area.
After three years efforts, your thousands of suggestions, your patience and collaboration on seeking ways to address the issues, the project team says "thank you". We're not done, but we've passed a signifcant milestone - together.
