119th Avenue Sidewalk
119th Avenue between NW Cornell Road and NW McDaniel Road currently lacks sidewalks, resulting in pedestrians being forced to walk in the roadway adjacent to narrow travel lanes. Due to this section of 119th Avenue’s proximity to shopping, schools and transit facilities, there is an unusually high pedestrian volume. This project will add sidewalks to one side of 119th Avenue between Cornell Road and McDaniel Road and will also include minor street widening and storm drainage upgrades.
In addition to this project, missing sections of sidewalk will be constructed on the north side of Cornell Road between Saltzman and 119th.
