170th/173rd Avenue - Baseline Rd to Walker Rd
This project connected Walker Road and Baseline Road utilizing the 170th Avenue and 173rd Avenue corridors. Three lane sections were constructed with bike lanes, curbs, sidewalks, illumination, and landscaping. A new signal was installed at the intersection of Lisa Street at 170th Avenue and the signal at 173rd and Baseline was removed making 170th the major arterial route. 173rd from Baseline to Shady Fir Loop is now a Neighborhood Route. In addition a box culvert was built to minimize environmental impacts at the creek crossing.
