175th Avenue Realignment
This project realigned 175th Avenue with Roy Rogers Road at Scholls Ferry Road eliminating the previous "T" intersection configuration with a stop sign at 175th Avenue and Scholls Ferry Road.
This project was designed by the County's Engineering Services. Consultant CH2MHILL assisted with the design. Bids opened on June 5, 2008. The construction contract was awarded to Eagle Elsner, Inc. on June 25, 2008. Three alignment alternatives were studied and alternative "B" was selected for design. The new alignment opened to traffic on Friday, November 21, 2009, one week ahead of schedule.
