Brookwood Avenue (TV Hwy to E Main/Baseline)
This project will improve the heavily used north-south link of Brookwood Avenue between Baseline/Main and TV Highway by widening the road to three lanes (one lane in each direction with a center lane) to improve traffic flow. Additional improvements include adding bike lanes, sidewalks and streetlights, creating a safe multi-modal roadway.
Clean Water Services has partnered with Washington County to upgrade the sanitary sewer system for future development of the Dawson Creek drainage basin as part of the road widening project. The City of Hillsboro has also partnered with us to upgrade the intersection of Brookwood at Baseline/Main. Combining these projects will result in a cost savings.
