Cornelius-Schefflin Bridge (over Council Creek)
This project will replace the bridge across Council Creek north of the City of Cornelius. The new bridge will be raised above the 100-year flood elevation and span the wetlands while reverting Council Creek to its natural stream width and hydraulic characteristics. The new bridge will include sufficient width to meet the needs of trucks, autos, farm equipment, bicyclists, and pedestrians.
