Glencoe Road Bridge Replacement
This project will replace the existing bridge on Glencoe Road over McKay Creek with a new longer single span bridge structure. The existing bridge is functionally obsolete and prone to flooding.
The new single span structure will be approximately 40 feet wide, 115 feet long and ten feet higher in elevation. Being a single span structure that is higher in elevation, this will help restore natural stream flow conditions and prevent the new bridge from flooding. Retaining walls will be installed to preserve and reduce impacts to wetlands and sensitive areas.
