Old Cornelius Pass Road Bridge over Rock Creek

PROJECT PAGES

This project will replace the existing 51-foot long "three-span" timber bridge on Old Cornelius Pass Road at Rock Creek with a new 63-foot long "single-span" concrete structure.

The existing bridge is substandard, has a minimal allowable load limit and is beginning to deteriorate, showing signs of decay. Being a "three-span" bridge, this also causes issues with debris collecting under the bridge, resulting in damaged pilings and improper stream slow.

The new structure will meet current bridge standards providing a safer commute and will span the creek to restore the natural stream flow.  This bridge is located just north of Phillips Road.
