Rock Creek Regional Trail Crossing at Evergreen
The City of Hillsboro’s Rock Creek Regional Trail entrances currently reside on both sides of Evergreen Parkway approximately halfway between Aloclek Drive and John Olsen Avenue. In order to cross this busy five lane road, pedestrians and bicyclists must divert east to the crosswalk at John Olsen in order to safely cross Evergreen and then head west, back to the trail entrance to continue on the trail.
This project will install a fully signalized crosswalk on Evergreen Parkway at the location of the trail entrances to provide a safe bike and pedestrian crossing.
