Walnut St (116th to Tiedeman)

Current Activity - construction

Activity Update 8/11/16:

Closure Extended

Due to wetter-than-expected soil conditions, the closure of Walnut Street between 112th and 114th Avenues will be extended to August 27, 2016. This decision was made with the safety of the public in mind, in order to have as much road work as possible completed near the school before the beginning of the school year. The contractor is being encouraged to keep the closure as short as possible and open access as soon as it is safe for the traveling public. At this time, expect the change to bus route 45 to also be extended to August 27.

Activity Update 7/19/16:

TriMet Alert

Starting Monday, July 25, bus route 45 (Garden Home) will not serve stops between SW 121st Avenue and Springwood Drive and Walnut Street and Tiedeman Avenue due to construction. This is expected to last until about August 15.

Check TriMet Alerts for service updates.

Activity Update 6/1/16: Based on new conditions and information found at the project site, the City of Tigard requests that the project work contract be modified to add approximately 2600 feet of replacement waterline (from SW Tiedeman Ave to SW 116th Ave). This added work causes a modification to the contractor work schedule posted below and on the Design tab. The added waterline work is funded by the City of Tigard.
