Seismic Retrofit Construction at Washington County Public Services Building - Release date: 01/06/2017
Washington County will soon begin a two-year construction project to ensure that the Charles D. Cameron Public Services Building (PSB) will withstand a major Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake. Construction will start in early 2017 and is expected to continue through 2018. Some County services will be temporarily relocated during construction to nearby office space in downtown Hillsboro.

All county facilities will close to the public beginning at 2:30 p.m. due to the deteriorating weather situation. Law enforcement, support for 24-hour facilities, snow and ice removal and other storm response operations will continue.
