Consistent with the forecast, snow began impacting area roads at about 10 a.m. Freezing rain and sleet are still expected later today. Our crews are sanding priority roads and intersections and will plow those areas as needed.
County Closes to Public at 2:30 p.m. - Release date: 12/08/2016
All county facilities will close to the public beginning at 2:30 p.m. due to the deteriorating weather situation. Law enforcement, support for 24-hour facilities, snow and ice removal and other storm response operations will continue.
