The Washington County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division consists of detectives who are specialists in investigating felony crimes such as homicide, child abuse, fraud, illegal narcotics trafficking, gangs and major thefts.
The Investigations Division also houses the Forensics Science Unit, which applies advanced technology to process crime scenes, analyze and store evidence, and identify persons from fingerprint examinations.
Recognized for their expertise, your Sheriff's Office detectives and forensics personnel are often called upon by other agencies to assist with investigations throughout the county.
