National Night Out

August 5, 2014

Deputy Tran and kidsNational Night Out is an annual community event designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back!

Each year, your Sheriff's Office celebrates National Night Out at neighborhood and block parties.  For 2014, we are joining with community partners to host several large community celebrations:

  • Aloha (South)

  • Banks

  • Bethany

  • Cedar Mill

  • Cornelius

  • Raleigh Hills

Stay tuned for more information!  In May, we will add more community celebrations to the list and specific time and location details.  For now, save the date of Tuesday, August 5.

Also, beginning in May, you can request a deputy from your patrol district to join your neighborhood celebrations and block parties for National Night Out.  Please complete our online request form or contact Jessica Chandler at (503) 846-2579.
