Who Patrols My Neighborhood

Your Sheriff's Office provides some services countywide, and we provide primary police protection in all the areas that lie outside of the cities.

To find out who patrols your neighborhood, use the link at the bottom of this page and type in your address.  You will get quick and specific answers to these questions:

  • Do I live in a city, urban unincorporated community, or rural area?

  • Do I live in the Enhanced Sheriff's Patrol District (ESPD)?

  • Which police agency responds when I call for help?

  • What services do I receive from the Sheriff's Office?

No matter where in the county you live, you likely see sheriff's deputies every day - both inside the cities and beyond.  This is because many Sheriff's Office services are provided to all county residents.
