Metzger Park Facilities
PATRICIA D. WHITING METZGER PARK HALL FACILITIES
The Hall is named the "Patricia D. Whiting Metzger Park Hall" in honor and recognition of Patricia's years of public service to the Park and the Metzger community. The Hall includes a 1,200 square foot room with a sliding glass doors that leads to a patio area. This room can accommodate 100-150 people. See layout below.
One 600 square foot room, with sliding glass doors, that leads to the beautiful Park outside. This room can accommodate 50-75. See layout below.
The Patricia D. Whiting Metzger Park Hall must be clean and empty by 11PM, Monday through Thursday, and by midnight, Friday through Sunday.
Full payment of the hourly charge and security deposit will reserve the date for your event. Reservations are taken on a "first-come, first-served" basis. For information on Park reservations call 503-846-8715.
AMENITIES
The facilities within the Patricia D. Whiting Metzger Park Hall include a large kitchen, complete with stove, refrigerator, sink, microwave, and 100-cup coffee maker. Please note - Linens, dishware or silverware are not included.
Two fully accessible restrooms.
15 six-foot folding rectangular tables, and 125 folding chairs available.
Adequate parking is available at the Park and on the surrounding streets.
The Park offers outdoor basketball hoops, tennis courts, and a playground complete with a slide, swings, and other play structures to enjoy.
The Park also includes 1,500 feet of interconnecting, paved pathways suitable for walking, exercise or nature watching. Nine picnic tables are scattered throughout the Park and two horseshoe pits available for use as well.
FOOD SERVICE
Food service for the event is solely the responsibility of the applicant (catered or self-provided).
Beer, wine, and champagne are allowed within the Metzger reserved hall area. Cans and bottles only are permitted. No kegs or hard liquor is allowed. In some cases, a liquor license may be required. Please refer to Oregon Liquor Control Commission for license/permit requirements.
MUSIC
Music is allowed within the Park but must be kept to a level that is suitable to and will not bother the neighbors who live around the Park.
