When illness, relocation, conflict, or any other hardship befalls us, we often feel unprepared to make adjustments needed to "weather the storm." Why are some of us better able to adapt to sudden changes and misfortune that others? What can we do to adapt more quickly and effectively to our ever-changing circumstances? This seminar will help participants uncover their own resiliencies and develop and improve resiliency traits within themselves.

"Manager's Guide to Critical Incidents" - Professional Development Series
Managers will be taught how to understand the basics of how humans respond to traumatic events. This seminar will cover how to best assist employees to recover after a critical incident. in Addition, participants will become familiar with Cascade EAP's protocols for providing critical incident response services.

"Assertiveness" - Professional Development Series
This presentation will discuss some of the myths surrounding assertiveness, evaluating your assertiveness, the differences between assertiveness and aggressiveness, passiveness, and how to become more assertive. it will equip individuals with skills to reach their goals of being heard, listened to, and prevent individuals from infringing upon them.

We have many relationships in our lives; spouse, children, parents, friends, teachers (just to name a few). We spend most of our day at work and yet there is very little information on how to improve this relationship. Just as with other relationships, we do and say things that can negatively impact a relationship or results in destroying it. This seminar looks at 10 Things people do to mess up their relationships at work and provides both awareness and tips to avoid messing up your relationship with work.
