Military Leaves

 

Are you or a family member currently in the Armed Forces of the United States, National Guard or Military Reserve Forces?  Washington County provides employees protected time off from work for a variety of qualifying events.

 

Qualifying events are, but not limited to:

  • Short notice deployment
  • Military events and related activities
  • Childcare and school activities
  • Financial and legal arrangements
  • Counseling
  • Rest and recuperation
  • Post-deployment activities
  • Care for an injured servicemember
