Sex Offender Notification
Legal Staus/ConvictionsTHE SOLE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTIFICATION IS TO ADVISE THE PUBLIC THAT TIMOTHY PARK WILL BE MOVING TO ANOTHER RESIDENCE IN WASHINGTON COUNTY. HE IS NOT WANTED BY THE AUTHORITIES, NOR IS HE UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR ANY CRIME. Mr. Park is on community supervision until September 9, 2015 after being convicted of Rape I and two (2) counts of Sex Abuse in the first degree. Park was sentenced to prison on November 15, 1995 and released on September 9, 1999. The instant offense occurred 17 years ago when Mr. Park was 17 years old.
Special Conditions of Probation/Parole/Post-Prison Supervision:Mr. Park is not allowed to have contact with minors or go to any place where minors congregate (i.e. parks, schools, arcades, libraries). In addition, Mr. Park is not allowed to use or possess alcohol, drugs, or pornographic material of any kind. He is required to report to the probation office, take regular polygraph examinations, and register as a sex offender per ORS 181.595.
Conviction Offense Behavior:Mr. Park’s conviction consisted of him volunteering as a baby-sitter through his church and in a private home. He was convicted of abusing three minor children in 1993 and 1994; however Mr. Park has disclosed at least 20 known minor victims.
Target Population:His target victims have been males and females between the ages of 1 and 7 years old.
Supervision Status:Mr. Park has been living in Washington County for the last 11 years under the supervision of Community Corrections. Since his release from the institution, Mr. Park has graduated from college and is working on obtaining his PhD. Along with attending college, Mr. Park is employed full time. Mr. Park had been at his previous residence since August 2, 2004, but had to move due to the house being sold. Mr. Park successfully completed sex offender treatment in 2005, and has been passing polygraphs every six months. Mr. Park has never violated his conditions by having contact with minors and his last violation was 10 years ago. Mr. Park reports to his parole officer as directed.
