Medical Examiner seeks help identifying a man found deceased April 20 in Beaverton

The Washington County Medical Examiner’s Office is seeking assistance identifying a man found deceased on April 20 at a Beaverton MAX station.

May 16 Update: 
Results from a fingerprint scan Thursday positively identified the man, and the Medical Examiner’s Office (MEO) will work on notifying next of kin. In the interest of protecting his health privacy in compliance with privacy laws, public health staff cannot release his name.

MEO did receive a few leads from local media before then, but none of them led to anything substantial. Still, MEO and Washington County Public Health greatly appreciates their efforts, as well as the public’s, in trying to identify this man.

Washington County, OR – The Washington County Medical Examiner’s Office is seeking assistance identifying a man found deceased on April 20. He was discovered at 7:16 a.m. near the Elmonica MAX Station at 1200 SW 170th Avenue in Beaverton.

The man is a white male with an estimated age between 45 and 64. He weighs 179 pounds and is 5 feet 7 inches tall. His hair is dark brown on the sides and balding on the top. He has blue eyes. He is missing teeth with dental restorations.

He has multiple scars that include a craniotomy scar on his head, scars on the left forearm, a scar on the left upper shoulder, a scar near the right elbow, a scar on the right hand, and orthopedic repair to the right lower leg. He was found wearing green scrubs with PHSC on the pant leg and back of the shirt, a gray Columbia full zip fleece jacket, a black puffer vest, Wrangler bootcut blue jeans size 36/30, and Keen shoes with yellow orthopedic inserts.
